Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Meat Wrapper to support meat distribution operations in a refrigerated environment. You will wrap, box and label fresh cut meat items, pick and pack orders to meet customer specifications, and scan products to capture required data for inventory tracking.

The role requires physical capability, with tolerance for long shifts in cold environments and potential overtime. Benefits and compliance with company safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year production and/or warehouse experience, preferably in a food environment.
• Overtime may be required as needed.
• Able to work in refrigerated environments (35F-45F, freezer 10F to -10F).

Responsibilities

Cleans all production rooms and equipment to meet SSOP and HACCP requirementsPick and pack orders per customer specification Scan product as directed to capture required data Transport Product and package accordingly utilizing prescribed equipment Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weight and break down various products to assist production as needed. Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment. Perform various facility sanitation duties as required. Operate assigned production equipment utilized for further processing Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management.
