Qualifications

• Grocery/retail or meat department experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn meat cuts, department procedures, and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Package, wrap, seal, label, and price meat products, including beef, pork, and poultry.
• Stock and maintain meat displays, rotate products, and monitor freshness and expiration dates.
• Ensure products meet quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about meat products.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, coolers, and display cases.
• Remove damaged, expired, or unsellable products following procedures.
• Support department operations and collaborate with team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
