Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, unloading trucks, assisting customers, and following all dress code and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs and product labels.
• Able to operate power tools used in meat preparation.
• Must work safely with cleaning solutions.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stay calm and positive with customers and colleagues.
• Meat department experience or food prep experience preferred.
• Reliable work history and integrity.
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws and food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
• Check product quality, ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Operate meat case and unload/prepare merchandise for sale.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist shoppers.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policy and health regulations.
• Maintain a neat, friendly impression with customers.
• Greet customers and help them find products promptly.
• Adhere to dress code, safety and sanitation standards.
