Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read shelf tags, signs and product labels.
• Qualified to operate power tools (wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, jack).
• Must work safely with cleaning solutions.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stay calm and make a positive impression on customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display meat items in a neat, orderly manner.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Maintain carts, tools and supplies in designated areas; keep floors clean.
• Operate display cases to ensure inventory levels and freshness.
• Unloads trucks, sorts and prepares merchandise for sale.
• Provide good customer and associate relations.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies and Health Dept. requirements.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding products.
• Follow all laws and company rules; maintain professional conduct.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly; stay prompt and courteous.
