Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Team Member for the meat department to assist with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, support sampling, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, accurate pricing, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety regulations. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and suggestive selling skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing display; keeps cases and shelves stocked; rotates and removes out-of-date products.
• Maintains back stock.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full, clean.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains.
• Arrives to work station on time; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service; addresses needs of customers; uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains clean and sanitary environment; equipment safety.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
