Responsibilities

• Develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
• Work as a team to ensure store success and a cooperative environment.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Assist in maintaining proper freshness, dating, tares, and merchandising per guidelines.
• Recognize the quality of service and self-service meats by appearance and type.
• Assist in pricing, rotation and merchandising to meet policies and objectives.
• Maintain awareness of competitive activity within the store area.
• Pull outdated items, rewrap or label as necessary.
• Answer guest inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner.
