Hy-Vee Cresco Dollar Fresh Market in Cresco, IA is seeking a Meat Specialist to cut, tenderize and merchandize fresh meat. This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate cutting, and safe handling of products in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the Meat Department by preparing cutting lists, conducting tests, and assisting in temperature control and cleanliness. High school diploma and food safety training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data and guide customers.

Responsabilités

• Cuts, tenderizes, and merchandises fresh meat.
• Provides prompt, friendly customer service and greets customers by name when possible.
• Prepares cutting lists and conducts cutting tests.
