Job Title: Meat Team Leader

Responsible for the execution of all aspects of day-to-day merchandising, stocking, product flow, planogram, and pricing of the Meat and Seafood departments. The Meat Team Leader is directly responsible for Meat team members.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
  • Achieving financial performance goals in both Meat and Seafood departments.
  • Conducting interviews to ensure proper staffing levels are achieved.
  • Training Meat team members to build and sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  • Writing and managing Meat schedules to achieve first-class service levels while controlling expenses.
  • Ensuring Real Time Apply is completed accurately and according to Meijer timelines.
  • Maintaining signing execution and pricing accuracy.
  • Adhering to sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Managing inventory shrinkage through BOH accuracy, production planners, and rotation guidelines.
  • Completing MITS tasks in a timely manner.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
