Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to keep cases clean, stocked, and appealing while assisting customers with purchases and product selections. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in grocery retail, preferably in meat, and can operate department equipment safely while maintaining high product knowledge and cross-functional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Meat department preferred.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of meat and seafood cases and surrounding areas.
• Stocks meat and seafood cases with accurate pricing and presentation.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information.
• Operate meat department equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Monitor temperatures to ensure product safety.
• Prepare and portion meat and seafood products.
• Maintain proper dating and rotation of products.
• Support pre-inventory activities and keep the department organized.
