Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will handle meat receiving, storage, grinding, and help customers with questions and special orders while maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.

The position requires a friendly attitude, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. AHS basics and safety procedures must be observed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Dependable, reliable and willing to perform related duties.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Adhere to safety, weights and measures regulations and department recipes.
• Capable of standing for up to 4 hours, up to 8 hours per shift; walk up to 2 miles in 8 hours.
• Able to work in a temperature controlled area; maintain clean, sanitized workspace.
• Vision adequate for sharp knives and equipment; able to lift 25–90 lbs; operate pallet jack up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in the Meat Department.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload from delivery truck; rotate stock.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and product location.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow the department's programs and guidelines.
