You will maintain department standards including proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety to ensure top quality and customer satisfaction. You will represent Big Y’s culture of caring, work with knowledge sharing, and support cross-training across departments while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments.
• Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
