Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a teammate for the Meat Department to assist Members with questions and product recommendations, weighing, packaging, and labeling meat, poultry, and seafood. You will help ensure freshness, rotate stock, and maintain all safety and cleanliness standards in the meat area.

The role requires knowledge of meat products, wrapping procedures, and prior deli/meat department experience, with a minimum age of 18. Join a team focused on guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality.
• Rotates products and keeps cases stocked.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and displays in the meat department.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
