The Winn-Dixie Company Meat Associate role supports daily meat and seafood operations, delivering fresh products with courteous service and compliant operations. You will maintain quality standards, assist customers, and help with inventory and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing products, following food safety guidelines, and collaborating with the team to ensure a welcoming store experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cutting, traying, wrapping, and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Service: create welcoming environment, assist customers, prepare & package meat/seafood, operate equipment, fulfill special orders.
• Leadership: promote teamwork, share information, and follow laws and company guidelines.
• Financial: rotate stock, manage waste, track inventory, ensure proper temperatures and logs.
• Compliance/Safety: enforce safety, food handling, inspections, recalls, and PPE usage.
