Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Meat Dispatcher to provide prompt, courteous service by filling orders for meat, seafood, and cremeria products. This role stocks and cleans displays, rotates products for freshness, and ensures pricing and labeling accuracy while supporting department goals and Vallarta’s high standards of food safety and sanitation.

You will greet customers, stock cases, maintain clean displays, and promote sales through suggestive selling and marinated meats.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to learn meat, seafood, and cremeria products and product codes.
• Basic understanding of English.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders accurately, package, weigh, and label products.
• Rotate and stock products in display cases and coolers; maintain freshness and quality.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling and preparation of marinated meats and vegetables.
• Ensure pricing and labeling accuracy.
• Maintain cases, counters, and displays clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and honesty standards.
