Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Meat/Seafood Butcher to prepare precise, high-quality cuts and deliver an exceptional customer experience in our meat/seafood department. The role also includes maintaining department standards, inventory control, ordering, production, and strict adherence to food safety policies.

You will share product knowledge with customers and support Big Y’s culture of care. Must complete required butcher/culinary training or pass meat skills tests and be 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passing a meat skills test.
• Requires ability to order for meat and seafood departments.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut meat/seafood to high quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer experience with knowledgeable service.
