Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring for a Meat Department associate to deliver excellent guest service and maintain product quality. You will greet guests, prepare knife-ready meat items, and assist with receiving, inventory, and merchandising.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, occasional bending and standing for long periods, and working in a cold environment. Must be 18+ with strong interpersonal and selling skills to excel in a busy store setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and create a selling environment.
• Prepare knife-ready meat and seafood items per standards (cut, slice, wrap, weigh, price).
• Assist in receiving, inventory, and storage of products.
• Price, stock, and rotate items in meat/seafood areas; maintain freshness and dates.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Address guest requests or concerns with management; report shrink issues.
• Make PA announcements for promotions in the meat/seafood department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
