Sprouts Farmers Market in Plano, TX is seeking a Meat Clerk to join the team. You will handle meat receipt, storage, grinding, and rotation while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role requires strong product knowledge, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. You will help maintain cleanliness and assist customers with special orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a HS diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly, positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• General housekeeping and adherence to safety regulations.
• Stand up to 4 hours at a time; up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift/carry 25–90 lbs and move pallets with a jack as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and product knowledge.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; rotate stock to avoid aging.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders.
• Follow 'Clean as You Go' and 'Fresh at 4' programs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized meat department area.
