Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team. You will provide a high level of customer service, handle meat receiving, storage and preparation, and assist customers with questions and special orders in a fast-paced environment.

You will adhere to safety, freshness and cleanliness standards, rotate stock, and participate in our Daily operations. This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work a flexible schedule including nights and

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Be dependable and reliable, able to perform other duties as assigned
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, good communication skills
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Capable of standing for up to 4 hours continuously, lifting 25–90 lbs with assistance
• Must use sharp knives and band saw safely

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced store environment
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload deliveries; rotate stock to prevent aging
• Assist customers with questions and special orders; follow Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and help locate products within store
