Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team in the Meat department. You will provide excellent customer service, handle meat processing tasks, and ensure adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• General housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Stand for up to 4 hours at a time; up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift/carry 25–90 lbs. and move pallets up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in the Meat department.
• Handle meat receiving, storage, grinding, and rotation.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders.
• Follow "Clean as You Go" and "Fresh at 4" programs and safety guidelines.
