Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock and maintain meat department cases, greet customers, provide product information, take special orders, and resolve customer concerns courteously.
• Set up displays, rotate products, ensure freshness, proper pricing, and handle spoiled or damaged items according to standards.
• May grind and cut meats and poultry as needed.
• Weigh, wrap, and label merchandise, maintain logs, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in minimizing shrinkage, report shortages, and help with receiving deliveries if trained.
• Ensure department cleanliness and safety, and assist in other departments if needed.
• Use all provided PPE and follow safety protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required.

Pay and Benefits

Starting at $15.00 up to $22.00 per hour. Benefits include health coverage, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), scholarships, discounts, and more.
