Job summary

US Foods Stock Yards in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a meat production worker to prepare and pack meat products, adhering to USDA safety and sanitation rules.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime, performing duties from receiving to packaging, and supporting cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced refrigerated environment.

High School diploma or GED preferred; overtime may be required; benefits include health, retirement, PTO, disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in production, warehouse, food processing or related environments preferred.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must adhere to USDA safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meat products to meet production demands.
• Utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat products.
• Follow Food Safety requirements and GMP.
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
