Job summary

US Foods, Inc. in Blasdell, NY is seeking a meat processing worker to operate CryoVac, MultiVac, dicers, and other equipment. You will cut, trim, and portion meat according to customer specifications, label portions, and prepare packing areas to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

The role requires adherence to GMP, maintaining a clean and safe work environment in a refrigerated setting, with overtime as needed in a fast-paced production facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with CryoVac, MultiVac, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutter or other meat production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA grades and standards.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat processing equipment (CryoVac, MultiVac, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutters) to prepare portions according to specs.
• Count and stack tray portions per customer and company specs.
• Label portions with product labels and set up packing/ labeling area as required.
• Perform end-of-day functions and maintain clean, sanitized packing and cutting areas.
• Follow GMP to maintain sanitary conditions; overtime as needed.

Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
