Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production line. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure product quality and safety, and maintain line readiness with proper paperwork and sanitation.

Responsibilities include coordinating line staffing, adhering to union rules, leading daily meetings, and implementing training and discipline as needed. Prior experience in meat processing and strong managerial skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat processing and knowledge of product specs.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities in a unionized, hourly workforce.
• Ability to prepare and review pre-operational paperwork and ensure line sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and yields of products on the line.
• Supervise all hourly employees on the line.
• Ensure safety and motivation of all supervised employees.
• Ensure products leaving the line meet required specifications.
• Prepare pre-operational paperwork and ensure line is clean and sanitized before operations begin.
• Ensure area is properly staffed to meet production needs.
• Prepare employee paperwork for all line employees.
• Adhere to union regulations for hourly staff.
• Attend daily supervisor meetings in the fabrication area.
• Run monthly line meetings for hourly employees on the production line.
• Administer follow-up training for all line personnel.
• Manage disciplinary procedures for hourly employees on the line.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
