Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc is seeking a Meat Prep Operator for the 2nd Shift in Wells, MN. The role involves blendor mixing raw materials to design specifications and supporting formulation operations.

The position requires standing up to 8 hours, bending, lifting and twisting, and the ability to work in a high-noise, warm-to-cold environment with PPE. Reports to Production Supervisor and pays $24.43 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and disassemble equipment per department protocols.
• Record raw material usage in the computer.
• Maintain QA and inventory records.
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to batch sheets.
• Mix ingredients and control temperature as required.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Read and follow specifications and batch sheets.
• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Blendor mix raw materials and ingredients todesignatedspecifications to ensure that final mixed product meets designated specifications.

JOB DUTIES

• Set up,operateand disassemble equipment as required. Includes mixers,grindersand other machines indepartment.
• Record all raw material usage on the computer.
• Perform all necessaryrecord keepingfor QA and inventory records.
• Measure and/or weigh all specified ingredients according to specifications and batch sheets.
• Mix ingredients and chill, if necessary,to propertemperature.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Must be able to read and understandspecificationsand batch sheets.
• Frequent twisting,bendingandlifting upto 100#.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wearappropriate PPEand other equipment as necessary orrequired.
