Surlean Foods is seeking a sanitation associate to clean equipment, lines and the production area in accordance with USDA standards. You will hose down surfaces, apply cleaning chemicals, and perform hot water wash downs to maintain sanitary conditions in the meat production facility.

Responsibilities include waste handling, drains, and safe chemical usage following MSDS and safety guidelines. The role requires standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and flexibility to support production needs.

Formación

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Know and understand good manufacturing practices.
• Know and understand safety guidelines.
• Be willing to rotate jobs.

Responsabilidades

• Clean equipment, equipment lines and production area to USDA standards.
• Hose down plant equipment, floors and walls; apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing.
• Perform hot water wash down of sterilization and manage waste disposal.
• Rotate jobs and follow safety procedures including lockout/tag out.
