Job summary

ADP is seeking a Maintenance Helper for 2nd shift in Owasso, OK. The role supports the maintenance team to keep equipment, machinery, and facilities in safe, clean, and efficient condition within a meat processing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep to minimize downtime and support production. High school diploma required; experience in maintenance and plumbing knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably in a food or meat processing environment or industrial setting.
• Knowledge plumbing and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect waste storage area and maintain wastewater system.
• Assist maintenance technicians with routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Perform basic tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts under supervision.
• Move tools, parts, and equipment to job sites as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist during equipment installation, setup, or relocation.
• Respond to urgent repair requests and reduce downtime.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety protocols around machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.
