ShopRite of Nutley, NJ is seeking a Meat Wrapper Clerk to wrap, package, scale, and price-mark merchandise in the Meat Department. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and perform other duties as required in a safe and efficient manner.

The role requires the ability to read, write, and understand English, basic math skills, and the physical capability to lift up to 90 lbs. Frequent temperature changes and customer interaction are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand, lift up to 35 lbs regularly, up to 90 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Must handle foods safely and follow QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, scale, and price-mark meat products.
• Maintain clean, neat, and safe Meat Department area.
• Stock merchandise and display cases; check refrigeration.
• Operate equipment and follow safety policies and regulations.
• Assist customers and promote promotions as needed.
