Job summary

Tyson Foods in Concordia, MO is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift packaging role in a fast-paced meat processing facility. The position involves standing for long periods, lifting 30-60 lb boxes, operating conveyors and labeling equipment, and collaborating with teammates to move product efficiently.

You will handle packaging tasks, inkjet labeling, boxing, bagging, palletizing, and basic forklift/pallet jack movements in a cool environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Lifting boxes weighing 30–60 lbs repeatedly.
• Operate labeling and packaging equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Work in a cool, damp environment (35–50°F).
• Must be able to follow orientation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate inkjet labeling as product moves on conveyor belts.
• Pack and box products (20–35 lbs) per piece at a 40 PPM speed.
• Perform boxing, bagging and palletizing tasks as required.
• Move and position pallets with forklift/pallet jack.
• Assist with case sealing and other packaging duties as needed.
