Fred Meyer is seeking a dedicated individual for the Meat department, responsible for product preparation and customer service. The role includes maintaining department standards, assisting customers, and working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and possess strong communication skills.
Perform general product preparation, clean-up, and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Additional responsibilities include tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, pre-fabricating, dating, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling, serving customers, and maintaining department standards. Keep logs, stock and display meat items safely, check product quality, keep areas clean and organized, communicate effectively, unload trucks, sanitize equipment, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to company policies. Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts professionally is essential. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
