Minimum Requirements:

  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
  • Must work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate certain equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
  • Dependability and integrity in past work record.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.

The responsibilities include tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, prefabricating, dating, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling, serving customers, and other functions in accordance with company policies. Also, maintaining department temperature logs, stocking and displaying meat items safely, checking product quality, keeping areas clean and organized, providing good customer relations, unloading trucks, sanitizing equipment, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
