MEAT/MEAT CUTTER (Finance)

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience in meat work or food preparation.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws and safety regulations related to employment and food handling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, and labeling products.
  • Maintaining department temperature logs accurately.
  • Stocking and displaying meat items safely and according to standards.
  • Checking product quality and ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
  • Keeping sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
  • Managing carts, tools, and supplies efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and clutter-free environment.
  • Providing excellent customer and team member relations and communication.
  • Unloading trucks, sorting orders, and placing items correctly.
  • Sanitizing equipment per policies and health regulations.
  • Greeting and assisting customers with quality foods and friendly service.
  • Supporting store sales and profits through retail and marketing initiatives.
  • Adhering to policies, including maintaining a harassment-free environment.
  • Working cooperatively under high pressure and managing conflicts professionally.
  • Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Following directions and seeking help to resolve issues.
  • Supporting minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Salary Range: $16.91 - $28.70.
