MEAT/LEAD CLERK (Finance)



Position Summary:
Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages customers to return. Help achieve sales and profit goals for the department, and monitor and control all quality assurance standards. Supervise all functions and duties of the Meat Department in the Meat Manager's absence. Support daily Meat operations and promote the Customer 1st strategy, encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service.   • Provide accurate product portions to minimize shrink.
  • Use cutting tools efficiently to manage production.
  • Stay current on promotions and educate staff accordingly.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and inventory awareness.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and signage.
  • Comply with all labeling regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Maintain proper case and cooler temperatures and logs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
  • Report safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
