Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will be responsible for product knowledge, friendly service, and merchandising across Fresh departments to create a welcoming store experience.

You’ll build customer relationships, help shoppers find items, and maintain attractive displays while following safety standards and using store technology to complete daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
