Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a flexible Meat department team member to assist with customer service, stock, and cleanliness. You will greet customers, handle merchandise, monitor temperatures, and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability, strong communication, and ability to multitask while following all company policies and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Weekend and holiday availability is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials and bulletins.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work with all levels of the organization.
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with cleaning solutions and operate production equipment safely.
• Past work history showing dependability and integrity.
• Experience in food preparation.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety and food handling.
• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
