• Previous experience in food preparation.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to employment, safety, and food handling.
• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them promptly with good quality food.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and friendly impression for customers.
• Unload, store merchandise, and display foods per standards and recipes.
• Monitor temperature and ensure product freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers organized and clean.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
• Maintain signage, product rotation, and space allocation.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are clean and safe and maintained.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Operate cash register as per procedures.
• Collaborate with team; handle high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
• Resolve conflicts in a cooperative manner and protect customer/business information.
• Support interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
