Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of meats, seafood and related products is required.
• Must successfully pass food safety certification every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Greet customers and provide efficient, courteous service.
• Cover Meat Manager duties in their absence to keep operations smooth.
• Train, coach and recognize staff; enforce discipline when needed.
• Help write schedules, order products, review invoices and track inventory.
• Maintain meat, seafood and deli product quality and appearance.
• Rotate items, manage signage and fresh displays for merchandising.
• Enforce safety programs and health codes; monitor sanitation.
