Job summary

Price Rite of Stoughton Town Center in Stoughton, MA is seeking a Meat Department Associate to deliver a great customer experience while wrapping, packaging, scaling, and price marking merchandise. The role maintains a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and performs tasks efficiently and safely in line with Company policy.

Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, checking refrigeration, sanitation, handling weights up to 90 lbs, following safety and CO.O.L.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must regularly lift 35 lbs. and occasionally 80–90 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment in the Meat Department.
• Check refrigeration equipment for proper performance and report issues.
• Stock merchandise and display cases.
• Accurately price mark products and apply discounts as needed.
• Follow safety, QA, and CO.O.L. regulations for all products.
• Assist in handling, rotating and stocking Meat Department products.
