Job summary

ShopRite of Forest & Richmond in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Meat Wrapper Clerk to deliver a great customer experience by wrapping, packaging, scaling, and price marking merchandise in the Meat Department. You will keep the department neat and safe, stock cases, and assist with labeling and promotions while following safety, cleanliness, and QA standards.

Must be 18+ with the ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in refrigerated areas.

Qualifications

• Read/write/speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Regularly lift 35 lbs. and occasionally 80–90 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe food handling.
• Ability to stand/walk and work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, scale, and price mark Meat Department merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized department.
• Stock merchandise and display cases; assist with pricing.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and QA standards across duties.
