Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe Meat Department workspace.
• Check refrigeration equipment and report issues promptly.
• Stock and display merchandise and ensure product rotation.
• Calculate figures for discounts, margins, and vendor charges.
• Work in refrigerated and cold storage areas and handle various products safely.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
