• Keeps meat department cases well stocked and appealing; smiles and greets customers and answers questions about cuts and prep.
• Sets up displays and ensures meat is fresh with proper pricing and signage.
• May grind and cut certain meats and poultry.
• Weights and wraps merchandise; maintains logs for freshness and quality; follows safety codes and sanitation procedures.
• Assists with receiving and stocking deliveries; helps minimize shrink and report shortages or overages.
• Maintains department cleanliness and ensures PPE usage; may assist in other departments as needed.
