Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Utah is hiring for a Meat Department Associate responsible for general clean-up, stocking, and providing friendly customer service. You will help ensure product freshness, maintain safe handling practices, and follow company policies.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, unloading merchandise, stocking displays, operating the cash register, and upholding safety, cleanliness, and signage standards in the meat area. Weekend availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods in accordance with company standards, recipes, and policies.
• Monitor product quality; make sure it is always fresh and safe.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal laws.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
