Weis Markets in Maryland is seeking a Meat Department Associate. You will keep meat cases stocked and appealing, greet customers, take orders for future delivery, and assist with special requests while ensuring freshness and accurate pricing.

Responsibilities include rotating displays, handling near-expiration items per procedure, assisting with grinding/cutting as trained, weighing and wrapping product, and maintaining sanitation standards; you may support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed high school or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Keep meat department cases well stocked and appealing.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions about cuts and preparation.
• Take orders for future delivery and assist with special requests.
• Set up displays and rotate products; ensure freshness and correct pricing/signage.
• Handle spoiled/damaged or near-expiration products per procedures; remove unsellable items.
• Help with grinding and cutting meats as trained; weigh and wrap merchandise.
• Maintain logs for freshness/quality and follow sanitation and safety rules.
• Cooperate with coworkers and assist in other departments as needed.
