Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Meat Department Associate to provide customer service and assist with stock, display, and safety standards. You will greet customers, handle merchandise, monitor temperatures, and operate a cash register with accuracy.

Ideal candidates communicate well, multitask efficiently, and follow health and safety guidelines in a high-energy retail setting. Weekend availability is a plus, and prior food retail experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and greet them with good quality food.

• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Unload and store merchandise and prepare/display foods per standards.
• Monitor temperature and product quality to ensure freshness and safety.
• Operate cash register according to company procedures.
• Follow policies, safety rules, and health regulations.
• Support through direct interaction with customers, including minors and seniors.
