Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Columbus is seeking an entry-level Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. You will help maintain fresh displays and friendly service while upholding company standards.

You'll follow SOPs, participate in trainings, and strive to promote Whole Foods programs. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to health, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to health, sanitation and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; rotate stock and remove outdated products.
• Maintain back stock and assist with sampling and promotion areas.
• Clean cases, signs, uprights, coolers, and floors as required.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage; report safety hazards immediately.
