Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Cheshire, CT is seeking a friendly Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and ensure clean, safe handling of products while delivering excellent customer service.

• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.

• Ability to follow directions and procedures; time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides support on the meat team including counter service, stocking, and sanitation.
• Ensure fresh, appealing displays and rotate/stock products; remove out-of-date items.
• Maintain back stock in good order and sample areas filled.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, floors and drains as required.
• Open/close duties; ensure accurate signage and pricing; attend trainings.
• Deliver courteous, friendly, efficient service and handle phones promptly.
