Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and maintain department operations.
• Keep temperature logs accurate and up to date.
• Train and follow up with associates on temperature logging.
• Maintain a friendly, neat, and professional appearance with customers.
• Operate light power equipment as needed.
• Learn procedures and methods of the meat department.
• Work safely and protect yourself and others according to safety rules.
• Keep carts, tools and supplies organized in designated areas.
• Keep floors clean, safe and uncluttered.
• Make a positive impression on customers and associates.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Follow all applicable rules and duties of the Meat Department, company, and laws.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions.
