Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Communicate department information to associates clearly.
• Set department goals and empower teammates to meet targets.
• Develop schedules to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Inform customers of specials and offer samples.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness; take action as needed.
• Create and execute the department business plan for results.
• Plan promotions with store management.
• Educate staff about in-store promotions affecting the department.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for supervisor.
• Implement the period promotional plan for the department.
• Assist with budget, expenses, and P&L reporting.
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf signage.
• Organize inventory and CAO processes; train staff.
• Ensure proper temperatures and log records.
• Enforce safety procedures and report hazards.
• Report safety risks and any theft or fraud.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform essential job functions with/without accommodation.
