Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Meat Department Lead to supervise hourly associates and drive department sales. You will model meat expertise, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with other leaders to meet member expectations.

You will leverage handheld devices and forecasting tools to plan production, inventory and staffing while maintaining a clean, safe department and mentoring team members toward growth.

Qualifications

• : 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the meat department team to achieve the business plan and contribute to the club's success.
• Communicate department goals and ensure adherence to policies and programs.
• Maintain knowledge of product specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Utilize digital tools to forecast, plan, and drive sales; train staff to use them.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and manage inventory and ordering.
• Mentor and recruit new talent; develop process improvements with managers.
