Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club Meat Department Lead in Charlotte, NC oversees a team of hourly associates to drive sales and provide high-quality meat products. You will model expertise in meat, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborate with other leaders to meet the club's goals.

You will train staff, use handheld technology for planning and decision-making, and maintain a clean, efficient work area while delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the meat department team to meet the business plan and drive member satisfaction.
• Maintain quality, inventory, safety, sanitation and compliance.
• Leverage handheld devices to plan, forecast, and adjust production and staffing.
• Train and mentor team members to deliver high-quality products.
• Keep the work area neat, safe and organized in accordance with standards.
