PCC Community Markets in Seattle's Madison Valley is seeking a Meat Department Lead to oversee meat and seafood operations, mentor staff, and ensure safety and sanitation standards. You will assist with ordering, processing, merchandising, budgeting, scheduling, and product mix while maintaining high customer service levels.

Requirements include a Meat Cutter license, WA Food Worker Card, and a Certified Food Protection Manager.

Qualifications

• Meat Cutter license and WA Food Worker Card required.
• Certified Food Protection Manager and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred or required.
• Experience in meat operations and customer service.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and mentor staff.
• Oversee Meat operations including ordering, processing, merchandising, inventory, and sanitation.
• Lead in the absence of the Meat Coordinator.
• Provide direction and coaching to Meat staff.
